How to do it
- Find the recording: Zoom saves local recordings in a Zoom folder inside Documents by default (an .mp4 video and an audio-only .m4a).
- Drop the .m4a (faster) or the .mp4 above.
- Download the transcript as .txt, or .srt for the video.

Does it separate speakers?
Not yet. You get the text with timestamps, without speaker names.
How long can the meeting be?
10 minutes per file on the free plan, up to 2 hours with Scribo Pro.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The AI model downloads to your browser once, then all the work happens on your computer or phone. You can check: once the model is loaded, the tool keeps working with your internet turned off.
