Is it free?
Yes: 2,000 characters at a time. Pro ($7/month) translates with no limit, including full subtitle files.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The AI model downloads to your browser once, then all the work happens on your computer or phone. You can check: once the model is loaded, the tool keeps working with your internet turned off.
Are subtitle timings kept?
Yes. Each subtitle is translated on its own and keeps its start and end times, so the file imports back as is.
Which languages?
English ⇄ Spanish, English ⇄ French, English ⇄ German.
Is the translation perfect?
No. It is machine translation: good for understanding and for a first draft, to proofread before you publish.
