Is it free?

Yes, up to 1,000 characters per generation. Scribo Pro ($7/month) reads up to 50,000 characters at once.

Can I use the audio in my videos?

The Kokoro model is released under the Apache 2.0 license, which allows commercial use. Check the voice rules of the platform you publish on.

Which languages?

English (US and UK voices) for now.

Is my text sent to a server?

No. The voice model (Kokoro, open source, Apache 2.0) is downloaded once into your browser and runs on your device. Your text never leaves it.
