What stays on your device

The audio, video, images, PDFs and text you use in Scribo are read and processed in your browser. They are not sent to any server, ours or anyone else's.

What gets downloaded

To work, your browser downloads the AI models (Whisper, Opus-MT) from Hugging Face and the OCR engine (Tesseract, pdf.js) from public CDNs (jsDelivr). Those services see a download request, like for any website. The models then stay cached in your browser.

What we receive

Only your Pro access code, when you activate it, to check that it is valid. It is stored in your browser (local storage), not in a database. No ad cookies, no analytics.

Our host (Vercel) keeps standard technical logs (IP address, date, page requested) for security. Payments are processed by Whop under its own privacy policy.
