MP4 and MOV from phones and cameras work in all modern browsers. WEBM and MKV work in Chrome and Edge.
Can I transcribe a YouTube video?
Scribo works on files on your device, so use your own video file (for example the one you uploaded to YouTube).
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The AI model downloads to your browser once, then all the work happens on your computer or phone. You can check: once the model is loaded, the tool keeps working with your internet turned off.
