First run downloads the voice model (about 90 MB), then it works offline. English only for now.

How to do it

  1. Paste your Short script (about 130 words for 50 seconds).
  2. Pick a voice and a slightly faster speed for Shorts.
  3. Download the .wav and import it into your editor.

Tip for Shorts

Short sentences sound more natural. Put a line break between ideas and the voice adds a pause.

Is my text sent to a server?

No. The voice model (Kokoro, open source, Apache 2.0) is downloaded once into your browser and runs on your device. Your text never leaves it.
