FAQ
Is Scribo affiliated with remove.bg?
No. remove.bg is a trademark of its owner; Scribo is an independent tool.
Is it as fast?
Cloud tools run on powerful servers, so they are faster. Scribo takes about 10 to 30 seconds per image on a typical computer, in exchange for privacy and no credits.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The background-removal model (ormbg, open source, Apache 2.0) is downloaded once into your browser and runs on your device. Your photos never leave it.
